On March 27 and 28, a capacity building workshop was held at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Philosophy, as part of the Erasmus+ project „IDEA-net“. The aim of the workshop was to enhance institutional capacities towards the creation of an environment that will support inclusion, diversity, equity and access (IDEA) in higher education.

The Belgrade workshop was intended for employees and students who are already dealing with these topics, or can contribute in their scope to raise awareness of these issues and change the situation for the better. It was led by colleagues from two partner institutions on the project, renowned in this field: ECHO (Centre for Diversity Policies) from The Hague and Erasmus University in Rotterdam. During two working days, led together with the Faculty of Philosophy, participants of the capacity building shared their experiences and visions for the application of IDEA concepts.

The faculty’s Committee for Student Issues, administrative staff, some students and the vice-deans were in attendance.

This is the second of three such workshops on the project. The other two were held at the University of Ljubljana and the University of Zadar.
